Tagua is naturally white, that is why it is referred to as vegetable ivory. Here is a very good example of a natural carving. It is nicely undercut and polished. And that dusty looking area under his chin....? It’s gone. The camera can see better than I can so I wind up with cleaning chores after I shoot the photos.
