Folks, here's another primitive cocobolo wood carving. It is an interesting piece showing three frogs peeking out of the log they apparently call home. .
These wood carvings are done by the artists of the Wounaan or Ebera tribes who live in the rainforests of Panama. This particularly carving has been in my inventory for 25 years. I recently opened a box of old carvings and decided to share them with the world. This carving is 8" long and the base has a 10" circumference. So if old unusual vintage wood carvings is your thing... here's a good bet.
