Folks, here's another cocobolo wood carving that might interest you. It is a bit unusual in that it is the only hatchet or axe cocobolo carving I have ever seen.
These wood carvings are done by the artists of the Wounaan or Embera tribes who live in the rainforests of Panama. This particularly carving has been in my inventory for 25 years. I recently opened a box of old carvings and decided to share them with the world. This Hatchet carving handle is 14" long and the blade is 4" wide edge to back.
Bang a nail in the wall and hang it from the crook in the blade. Talk about home security...you could really "splinter" someone's skull with this weapon. Joke, joke!! All you anti-2nd Amendment types relax.
So if old or vintage wood carvings are your thing here's a good bet. Plus this one is truly unusual.
