This is one of the few remaining grabados or etched and painted tagua carvings I have left. These were highly popular with the tagua artists in the early 1990's. I remember having about 100 pounds of them back then but today I only have a handful left. I chose a few to keep and decided to sell the rest. This one is of a Kingfisher and is an excellent example of the tagua nut itself. It will help collectors explain to their admirers just what a tagua nut looks like.
