Folks, this is another tagua carving from my personal collection. It is probably from about 1995. I remember one of the best carvers started carving these large, well polished white carvings. I was taken by them and bought a number of his creations. They are wonderful examples of why tagua is called vegetable ivory. And the neat thing is tagua turns slightly darker with age, just like ivory. This is a wonderful gift for someone who likes spiders. Click above for the larger images.
