Here’s a lovely Iguana Tagua Carving. The critter has a nice long tail and some nice leaves to add a touch of class. This is a particularly large nut. Every tagua nut has a hole where the nut would germinate and begin another palm tree if it were allowed to grow. It is sort of like the eye of a potato. The artists usually cut it away. This carving has that hole but the artist filled it. It is on the underside so you have to pick the carving up to see it.
